Maternity yoga to heal low placenta

God, please let it go up!

Many pregnant women have difficulty with low placenta.

Of course they go to maternity clinic but it always ends up with waiting and praying. No efficient measure is there. All I could do is just standing by her as a husband. I literary went to church every Sunday and pray for her and the baby to go up. We have gone through stillbirth once and abortion three times so she always worry about the baby in her womb.

But just after starting the Maternity Yoga, which I explain, she became better day by day and has seen the miracle recovery on 31st week of pregnancy. I will explain the exact Yoga posture by 4 steps and would  like to share this wonderful method.

My experience

Before to start Yogo, let me share my experience.

First of all, I am a man. I was to support my wife by mental and practical way and I have chosen Yoga for this purpose. The reason is very simple. My parents are both Yoga teacher and have 40 years and more experience in this field. Especially, my farther is a specialist in Maternity Yoga and has class in maternity clinic. He is so professional that he has no incurable baby standing on opposite side in his experience. Actually I am one of his patients to see the recovery in my mother’s womb. My sister has also experienced the same problem recently and recovered by this maternity yoga.

Why to choose Yoga?

If medical doctor has an answer, please go his way. They have lots of experience.

But they cannot cure Low Placenta or baby in opposite position.

No body can use medicine and direct approach to it. No data and test is possible. Women’s womb is an eternal secret no matter how much the technologies grow up in the future.

Then why to choose Yoga? Because it is matter of Posture. If you have bad posture, they you will have heavy legs or tired eyes automatically. The same way, low placenta or baby on opposite position means bad posture of the baby and as well as mother. If mother become better posture, then the internal organs will comes to right position and the baby will sit comfortably in right way.

What is Low Placenta?

Low Placenta means, the placenta is located near to uterine ostium.

Please imagine the womb as a balloon. Uterine Ostium is binding area in the bottom and the placenta should be far from this. The best condition is the opposite side of uterine ostium. Then the umbilical cord will be hung vertically down to the earth and the baby’s head will go down automatically. Otherwise, the umbilical cord will catch the neck or the head go up and fix in a wrong position. In this case, natural birth become difficult and may need operation. Once experience the surgery, the same area become her weak point and become more difficult for the second time. Natural born is always the best for baby and mother.

Maternity Yoga #1

Before to start any kind of maternity yoga, you should start with sleeping on the floor first. I know bed is comfortable but please try floor mat.

If you sleep on the bed, it is difficult to change the position and the bad things will stay in the same area. The same way, sofa and the chair is also bad. It is always the best way to stretch your body by sleeping on the floor. This is my personal surprise story. I went to America to study contemporary Yoga but came to know that it takes a month for American people to site right way in the floor. As a Japanese, this was a shock. If you choose bed and sofa, then your body weight does not stretch your body and keep stuff and hard your body. “Soft and smooth” means comfortable for baby to stay. Sleeping is called as “Shivasana” and it is most important Yoga posture.

I have also used bed and sofa for many years but since this matter to face, I have changed my habit. Of course the first few days it was difficult to fit, but my wife felt fresh feeling on her legs immediately. Now that the baby has come, we three together sleep in the same mat on the floor and find out ourself somewhere different in the morning to come. It is fun.

Maternity Yoga #2

In pregnancy, women worries about many things. Once judged as Low Placenta, the worry becomes bigger. It has no effective measures to cure in doctor’s side. They say “Don’t move” but let’s change the mind as “Don’t move badly”.

Use the good support of cushion and mad, please shift up your hips and keep the legs higher. In this position, please see the TV or smart phone and be relax. You can feel the bad things in your body will circulate and clean up. You may feel something heavy on your legs often but now you can feel fresh in 20 minutes.

Maternity Yoga #3

When you get used to this #2 posture, let’s keep more up your hips. You can feel the effect sooner and deeper. After doing this position, you have to sleep in the flat floor mat to reset.

By this posture, your internal organ will go up and after sleeping down, it comes back to the right way. Please imagine the shaking the bottle. You can see the content will spread all over the bottle equally and settle. The same way, your internal organ will go up and the baby will go down in the right position. The gravity of the head will move up the placenta and make feel the baby more comfortable.

You may be afraid that the things become worse by moving. But the worst thing is that the fixing the organ and the baby in the bad way. Once they come to the right position, it stays there. It is comfortable for baby and it is natural. It doesn’t go back in the wrong way. Let’s feel fresh on your legs and make the baby to move comfortably.

Maternity Yoga #4

After you get used to the 3 postures, then only let’s try shoulder standing called “Sarvangasana”. You can feel the effect soonest and deepest. When you shake your anklet, you can feel more fresh.

But you should take someone’s help. Please go to Yoga class near by or take husband support. If you can do this easily, then only please try head standing called “Sirsiasana”. You can feet more fresh.

Filanlly

Once you are judged as low placenta, doctor will ask you not to move so you may stay on bed all the day. Please change the mind from “not move” to “not move badly”. Let’s keep up your hips and circulate the bad things in your body.

In our experience, blood has come in the 12th week and the same time, she was judged as low placenta. It was after the three times of stillbirth and one time of abortion, so she worried so much. Fortunately my father as a professional maternity yoga teacher come and told this skill but we of course hesitated to do so. Please don’t mind and take time. It’s your time. We also have started something soft with lots of worries. After doing this everyday, she has gradually recovered and have seen the miracle recovery in 30th week. We were looking for the bigger hospital for surgery in those days so it was a big surprise for us in the last minutes.
